Let go and trust

Loving yourself

I was scanning through my youtube favorites and came across this very inspiring video, called  “As I began to love myself”

When watching it for the first time about 2 years ago, it really moved me, and I could only wish that I would be able to Love myself enough one day to relate to it.
I remember how my thoughts were launching a feeling of loss and emotional suffering but it magically and instantly stopped when I returned to the first statement:

I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know this is  “AUTHENTICITY”

When two spiritual teachers come together and talk about their wisdom and you are watching and listening, you can consider yourself to be very lucky!
I discovered this youtube video a long time ago, but since I wrote about my own ” Dog whisperer” experience recently, I thought this post was a logical choice to come online next.

Enjoy

Inspirational Lesson

I am a fan of both spiritual teachers, Cesar Millan and Eckhart Tolle. In both their teachings there is a powerful similarity when it comes to oneness, being in the now, balance and energy.

I have a beautiful dog myself who will listen perfectly inside the House and becomes the packleader outside the House. Nomatter how much effort I’ve put in correcting him, it seems a waste of time. Then one day I decided to look up a few Cesar Millan youtube video’s and even though I had seen some of them already, it seems that I had missed out on one important message it is all about how you feel, your vibration, your energy. Your energy is what Dogs are reading. It will tell them if you are a leader or a follower.
All dogs need a stable leader, someone who is in control of the pack or can handle and correct situations while being calm, convincing and present. They always seek balance.
Humans on the other hand are the only kind that are willing to follow unstable leaders, adjust quickly to stress and being out of balance while thinking that it is normal?!

I believe that you are great!

That there is something magnificent about you, regardless of what has happened to you in your life!
Regardless of how young or old you think you might be.
The moment you begin to think clearly there is something that is within you, this Power, that is greater than the World.
It will begin to Emerge and guide your Life beyond your Dreams!

How to find your passion

Passion or in this particularly example pronounced as the inner voice is something we all have!
Yet, the majority of people cannot find their inner voice or passion.
Why is it so difficult to find your inner voice? I was wondering and struggling with that question!

What keeps us from finding our passion and how serious is that?

We all want to help in a way to make the other feel and perform better, right?!
In case you find it too hard to be present in the moment and you cannot control your
need to advice or correct the persons perception?!
Then this video shows you another approach!

How to improve Empathic Listening with an old Indian tradition

Let’s see another example of compassionate listening from a great teacher: Dr. Stephen R. Covey.

Do you recognize the need or habit to help people suffer less by giving them advice on how to change perception!
We all want to help in a way to make the other feel and perform better, right?!
Did you also noticed how in many cases we fail at our attempts because the person you are trying to help is not open for solutions yet?
He or she simply want to be heard first,  sharing  intimate feelings of pain, disappointment or anxiety!

There is great healing in the moment that you just listen!

Any urge to correct or advice the person should be ignored! Just Listen while being fully in the moment and see how that magically works!

Many great teachers and authors talk about this topic of compassionate listening.
Here is the first teacher “Thich Nhat Hanh”

Human (in)sanity

Steve Taylors book “Back to sanity” is one you should read. It helps you open your mind to the following:

Have you ever thought that there might be something wrong with human beings, even that we might be slightly insane? Why is it that so many human beings are filled with a restless discontent, and an insatiable desire for material goods, status and power? Why is it that human history has been filled with endless conflict, oppression and inequality?

You have the ability to direct your own thoughts!

You have the option of observing the things and situations as they are or imagining them as you want them to be!

Whichever you choose, whether you are imagining or observing it is equally powerful!

Grow from inside out

A spiritual teacher from India : Swami Vivekananda once said to his students:

a face in stature

“You have to grow from inside out. No one can teach you, no one can make you spiritual.

There is no other but your own Soul”

It always touches me when I read, hear or see some expression that has a profound truth.

There is something inside of me that can resonate and recognize it to be true. Some people call it instinct, intuition or your soul connection.
It’s a very brief moment where clarity breaks through the mashed up, overanalyzed mind of labels.
The very first moment you look at it there is ……… clarity….. shining through. A brief moment where the mind is quiet for it cannot find the right label for the object!

I love those moments. It happened to me with both the text and the image of this beautiful Sculpture called:  “Metamorphosis”.
form the Artist Maria-Luise Bodirsky.

What about you? do you recognize this moments of clarity?

I would be delighted to hear from you.
