As we worry, we suffer from disturbing thoughts. We tell ourselves stories through thoughts! Most of the time it is about unwanted scenario’s.
Our focus is on the wrong side of the scale. It is upstream (resistance) instead of downstream (go with the flow).
We worry most of the time and even if a peaceful thought comes along, the mind finds a way to criticize that peaceful thought and drags you along the pad of negativity again. We all want to help in a way to make the other feel and perform better, right?!
Did you also noticed how in many cases we fail at our attempts because the person you are trying to help is not open for solutions yet?
He or she simply want to be heard first, sharing intimate feelings of pain, disappointment or anxiety!
There is great healing in the moment that you just listen!
Any urge to correct or advice the person should be ignored! Just Listen while being fully in the moment and see how that magically works!
